Pottstown, PA –

The Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities (PCRC) is pleased to announce that VideoRay, LLC. located at 212 E. High Street and the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation, 152 E. High Street have provided the financial resources to make significant renovations to PCRC’s future Education and Administration Center located at 61 N. Franklin Street in Pottstown.

VideoRay’s donation, in conjunction with the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit program through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will allow PCRC to have the main mechanical systems, including HVAC and electrical systems installed.

Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundations’s financial support will allow for handicap accessibility of the building.

Currently, local contractors’s Wm. Boalton Plumbing and Heating Co. of Pottstown, and Jay Wright, Electrician of Pottstown, have been hired to begin the reconstruction of this historical building.

“We are extremely grateful for the local support and are excited to be at this point in the campaign,” Barbara Wilhelmy, PCRC Executive Director said. “We now ask the community to join us to help move us to the final goal- to restore this house that will be a central community resource, supporting the stability of members in the Pottstown community while supporting the revitalization of Pottstown.”

PCRC, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the basic needs of Pottstown area residents living in economic poverty, is currently in it’s 50th year of service to the Greater Pottstown area.
