VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Volunteer Treasurer: We have an immediate need for a volunteer with experience and background in accounting and finance to join the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of the PCRC. The person will report to the current Treasurer for the remainder of the 2010 calendar year to gain familiarity and help with current financial issues and reporting. The person would be expected to submit his or her name to the Board toward the end of the year for election as a replacement to the current Treasurer who will retire in December. The successful volunteer would be expected to attend board meetings (third Thursday of every month from 12:00 to 2:00PM) , to provide oversight to budget and accounting functions of the organization and to coordinate regularly scheduled finance committee meetings (scheduled around member availability and organizational needs) and to perform reporting tasks as assigned. Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are a vital part of our ability to provide services and assistance to our clients! Volunteer opportunities are available at the Cluster Outreach Center and at our community meal sites.
Got a large group? Special group projects include: receiving and sorting large food donations, the holiday toy and food program, and special Clothes Closet programs.

Ongoing Opportunities at the Outreach Center:
  • Serving food/putting food orders together
  • Stocking/sorting food in the Food Pantry
  • Meeting with clients to sign-up for Food Pantry assistance
  • Sorting clothing and household goods
  • Putting clothing orders together for clients
  • Administration/office assistance
