COMMUNITY MEALS

Community Meals Program

PCRC’s Community Meals program has been offering meals to residents of Pottstown for over 50 years. Five local worship centers open their doors on separate weekdays to serve meals assisted by many congregations and organizations in the Pottstown area. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Community Meals Schedule:

Lunches are served from 11:45 am–1:15 pm

 

Mondays: Christ Episcopal Church – 316 E High Street

Wednesdays: The Salvation Army – 137 King Street

Fridays: Emmanuel Lutheran Church – 150 N Hanover Street *available at 11:30 am

Sundays: Pottstown Bible Church – 366 South  Street  *available at 12pm

 

Dinners are served from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Mondays: Chesmont Church of Christ – 699 N Pleasant Road *6pm (rides to soup kitchen. Pickups at: Borough hall Smith plaza and the Pottstown library at 5:45.)

Tuesdays: Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ – 60 N Hanover Street *Will begin at 4:45pm

Emmanuel Lutheran Church – 150 N Hanover Street *available at 6pm

Wednesdays: First United Methodist Church – 414 E High Street

Thursdays: First Presbyterian Church – 750 N Evans Street *Not available Thursday, November 23, 2023 (Thanksgiving)

Saturdays: Emmanuel Lutheran Church – 150 N Hanover Street *available at 5pm
