Through interfaith cooperation, the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities (PCRC) provides tangible services, support, and spiritual guidance to address the basic needs of persons within and beyond the Greater Pottstown area, coordinating our programs and referrals to help clients improve their overall stability.
Position Title: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Position Description: This is a regular part-time, 20 hours per week non-exempt position, Monday through Friday 12:30PM-4:30PM.
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for coordinating the reception area at the Cluster Outreach Center and being the first point of contact for visitors, clients and volunteers. This position is the central point for greeting and directing them to the appropriate staff or program, either via phone or in person. Administrative support to programs and program staff will include data entry, computer work, special projects and support to other program areas as needs arise and time permits around receptionist responsibilities.
Qualifications: Proven ability to work cooperatively with staff and volunteers of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and socioeconomic levels. Good oral, written and computer skills. Capable of managing personnel issues with sensitivity and assertiveness. High school degree or equivalent required. Prior office/business experience desired. Current child abuse clearance and criminal background check required. Physical qualifications include ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and to bend, stoop, sit and stand.
